Spray tan formulas use an active ingredient called DHA, which reacts with the enzymes in your skin cells. This darkens the colour of your skin over a period of 8 hours.
The express tan solution has a higher concentration of DHA so you can see the results of your spray tan after only 1-4 hours … and have a shower after just 2 hours.
For a deeper tan, the classic spray tan can be washed off after 6 hours.
Two-hour express tan
Perfect for those busy bees or last minute leavers, our express tan solution keeps on developing even if washed off after 1-4 hours.

Whether it’s hot, humid and sticky or pouring with rain, the weather can dramatically affect the outcome of a tan. An express tan is perfect for these conditions because it sets before nature can wash it off.
New mums
If you’re a breastfeeding mum, you and your baby don’t have time to wait around for 8 hours while your tan is setting. With an express tan, you’re showered and ready to ‘glow’ before your next feed!
Last-minute leavers
If you’ve had a last minute invite, or you left your tan ‘til last on your to do list, the two hour tan is a lifesaver! Your spray tan will have you ready to go in just two hours.
Busy bees
It’s rare to find a day that isn’t packed to the brim but it’s so important to find time to do the things that make you feel great. With an express tan, you can be sprayed, showered and ready to get on with your day (without worrying about sweating your tan off) in under 2 hours.
Our express tan solution will give your skin a beautiful natural glow in just two hours. However, for a darker tan you will need to leave the solution on for a minimum of 4 hours.
And while your express tan will look fabulous, it is harder to predict whether the tan will give you the exact look you’re after.
Six-eight hour classic tan
Now if you’re more likely to plan ahead, our classic spray tan solution, available in both medium and dark, is great for leaving on overnight and safe to be washed off after 6-8 hours.
If you have the time for a 6-8 hour tan, we recommend this one for you. With the right pre and post tan ritual, you can easily have a natural sun-kissed tan.
Longevity
The main advantage of a classic spray tan is the longevity of your result. Yes you have to leave the tan on longer but the bonus is, you achieve a longer-lasting result.
Late night tanning
If you can only get to the studio late at night, 6-8 hours tans are definitely for you! No more waiting up late to rinse your tan off. These tans can be left on overnight without the worry of overdeveloping (just make sure you wear long sleeve clothing to protect your tan while you're asleep).
Planning ahead
If you have a big event coming up, you may want to get your tan a day or two beforehand for the most natural look. This also allows you to get used to your look and feel more confident in your skin.
Both the 2 hour express tan and classic 6-8 hour tan will help you achieve a natural honey glow suited to your skin tone. The tan that works best for you depends on you! And remember, just because you’re used to one, doesn't mean you can’t try the other!
